Booklets

Number of booklets

Detected from the .io file. Start pages use the original instruction page numbers.
The first booklet starts on page 1. Custom covers change booklet previews only.
PDF pages use physical PDF numbering: page 1 maps to Start page. Leave Use pages empty to disable PDF replacement.

Part textures

Mark sticker textures and enter the label to show in MOC Step. Printed parts can stay unmarked. Shared textures use the same label.

Remove existing sticker number text boxes

Use the converter’s sticker indicators instead. Removes plain numeric text boxes across each page when their number matches a selected sticker shown on that page. Other numbers and explanatory notes are kept.

Part corrections

Hoses

Choose the hose length used in the real build. Studio’s bent shape and the part colour stay unchanged. Corrected names and lengths are shown in MOC Step 0.69.21 or newer.

Instruction style

Use instruction style stored in .io

Use the instruction background, step number font and parts list colors.
Unavailable fonts fall back to the viewer default.

All stored instruction settings are preserved for future viewer updates. The switch controls which supported styles are applied now.

Advanced options

Repositioning arrows

Add extra arrows in MOC Step to show when temporarily displaced parts should move into their final position. These arrows are generated by MOC Step and are not part of your original Studio instructions. Select the buffer exchange parts below; the arrows appear when their displacement ends.

Keep repositioning arrows and part highlights on the immediately following empty step in the same submodel, without repeating the placement animation.

Geometry optimisation

Optimizing geometry

Use fewer sides for supported curved surfaces. Half is the recommended starting point; Quarter makes silhouettes more angular. Original Studio files are never modified.

Flexible tubes currently covers supported ribbed hose modules. Only circular subdivision changes. Some complex intersections may keep their original geometry.

Earlier improvements

MOC details & creatoriSet the name, cover image and creator details builders see when opening your model. The piece count override changes the displayed total only; it does not change the parts inventory.

BookletsiSplit the instructions into booklets using their original page numbers. Custom covers change the booklet previews. Selected PDF pages replace the corresponding instruction pages with images, so those pages will not be interactive 3D steps.

Hoses

Instruction styleiBring supported Studio page styles into MOC Step, including the background, step number font and parts list colours. You can replace the background image here. Other stored settings are preserved for future viewer support; unavailable fonts use a fallback.

Advanced optionsiFine-tune how MOC Step interprets your instructions. These options affect the exported building experience without editing your original Studio file. Control repositioning behaviour and the detail of supported curved geometry.

Geometry optimisationiReduce supported circular geometry before preparing smooth surfaces and bevels. Original connection points stay unchanged. Flexible tube lengths, paths and rib counts are preserved. Unrecognised or unsafe geometry stays unchanged; results are reported after conversion.

Terms & creditsiAdd usage terms for your own instructions and credit any custom assets. These details travel with the file and can be read in MOC Step. Existing software and parts-library licences are retained; your text does not replace them.
